For classical students and schools, ekomi provides a specially designed player and supporting services that allow students to create enrollment recordings embedded with application information and easily submit them from anywhere in the world. The ekomi player combines recordings, text, and graphics into a single, portable multimedia envelope and reliably delivers it online. The ekomi server software provides tools for scheduling and managing the high volume of enrollment recording downloads from students rushing to meet application deadlines.

The ekomi recording and multimedia envelope delivery service is integrated into the Unified Application for Conservatory Admission and is currently set up for applicants to Mannes College. When applicants complete the unified application process by sending pre-screen recordings, the Mannes College student database is automatically updated. Sending recordings digitally ensures that they are never lost, and students gain peace of mind when they are immediately credited with completing their application. Administrators no longer need to deal with a pile of poorly labeled tapes and CDs.
